| Welcome to your Catholic School Advisory Council! |
| As a school council member, you can help your council discover new and exciting ways to contribute to the education of students in our school. Education is a partnership involving parents, students, teachers, principals, school boards, government and the community. Your involvement in the council gives you the opportunity to strengthen that partnership, and to be a part of a dedicated team working to ensure a high quality of education and an accountable education system for the students of Ontario. You are welcome to become involved in the school in any way you can. There are many groups that operate through the Council to help out in many different aspects of the school. We welcome any involvement you can have in our children's education. Your participation can make a difference! |

Reaching Out to Parents in our Community
|

We want to provide learning opportunities, workshops and events for our parent community at the school. As a Council, we ask that you let us know about what kinds of workshops or events you would like to have happen at the school [i.e. Lunch ideas, Streetproofing Kids, Block Parents, etc]. Please contact Jenn Kitsch, this year's Chair of the CSAC (Catholic School Advisory Council) with any ideas you may have for such parent workshops. Please contact the school and leave a message for Jenn 519-273-3396. If you would like to attend a CSAC meeting but require child care, please contact Mrs. Nelson at the school and she will arrange to have child care in place for you at the school during the meeting. You must contact Mrs. Nelson a week in advance to insure that the child care has been set up for the correct number of children. Our Next Meeting will be November 3 in the school library. All parents are welcome to attend. We hope to see you there! |

Order all year long using School # 7584 PLEASE DO NOT RENEW YOUR SUBSCRIPTION THROUGH THE MAGAZINE COMPANY, do it instead through our school's QSP account. Catalogues have been sent home to order and renew your subscriptions through our fundraiser. You may also use the link above any time throughout the year to renew or to order any subscriptions you would like. |

Shop & Support - Gift Cards |
Cash and cheque (payable to: Jeanne Sauvé CSAC) orders due each Thursday. Delivery of your cards is the following Thursday. You can buy all of your gift cards through the school ... no cost to you and a great support for the school. It is also a great way to budget your family spending. This will be ongoing throughout the year with scheduled order deadlines every Thursday and the following Thursday is the card pick up date. Because of their cash value, we don't send gift cards home with the students. |

Our Playground was installed at the school on August 22, 2007. Thank you to our school community and friends for your hard work in fundraising for this project. We aren't done yet! We have completed Phase 1 and are completing Phase 2 soon. PHASE
